About the Family Planning Division at the University of Utah

The Family Planning Division at the University of Utah is an interdisciplinary collaboration of health care providers, researchers, educators, and administrators who are committed to elevating the health and well-being of our community through sexual and reproductive health care, research, education, and advocacy. Our approach to improving sexual and reproductive health is holistic, with an emphasis on generating and using evidence to strengthen health systems and progressive policy, and ensuring that progress is sustainable.

About the Position

The internship will be based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Although our offices are located within the School of Medicine, we are mobile and tend to work in different areas on campus or remotely. Family Planning Elevated will work with the intern to see what work environment is mutually beneficial.

Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter. We work in a fast-paced and agile office environment and desire someone who is flexible, eager to learn, and can take ownership over projects.

We are looking for someone who has a passion for sexual and reproductive health rights, and underserved populations. Additionally, candidate possesses the knowledge and understanding of the complexity of contraception and abortion care.
