Scholars Insitute

The Pasifika Scholars Institute is a five-day intensive program that prepares prospective undergraduate students for leadership and learning in Pacific Islands Studies at the U. Our institute includes workshops with Pacific Islander Professors at the U, Pacific Islander Community Leaders, advisors, and much more.

Ambassadors Program

The Pasifika Ambassadors Program is an academic year-long internship that provides undergraduate students, who have interests in or commitment to the Pacific Islander community and PI studies, the unique opportunity to learn from and with Pacific Islands Studies professors, staff, and community leaders.

Research Fellows

The Mellon-Pasifika Research Fellows program is key to the development of PI Studies at the U. Through this program, we are producing robust, original scholarship at all stages of the academic life cycle.
